William Joseph Lunsford's Obituary
William Joseph Lunsford Sr., age 61, of Metamora, Indiana, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his residence.
He was born December 9, 1956 in Connersville, Indiana. He was the oldest of two children born to Sydney and Shirley Banks Lunsford.
A life-long resident of Franklin County, Indiana he was a 1974 graduate of Brookville High School.

For over 40 years, he was employed at Owens Corning of Brookville.
William was a member of ABATE and the Eagles Lodge of Brookville. In his leisure, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and listening to country music.
Survivors include three children, Amy (Paul) Greiwe, of Greensburg, Shawnda (William) Reese of Brookville, William Joseph (Sheila) Lunsford Jr., of Oxford, Ohio; two step-sons: John (Ashley) Hundley and Daniel (Kelly) Hundley, both of Brookville; twelve grandchildren, Noah, Makenzie, Logan, Miley, Alexander, Madelyn, Madison, Audrey, Lylah, Ava, Adrian and Abby; his sister, Lynn (Scott) Sams, of Andersonville, Indiana. He is blessed with a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 2, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Mike Cowle. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, April 2, from 9 AM until the time of service.
