Wesley Shane Lackey, age 40, of Hamilton, Ohio and formerly of Lima, Ohio died Thursday, June 6, 2019 as the result of injuries sustained in a residential fire.

Born August 15, 1978 in Oxford, Ohio he was the son of Dennis R. & Sandra J. (Forch) Lackey.

Shane was employed as a mechanic for much of his life. In his leisure time he enjoyed cars, remote controlled vehicles, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son, Chyler Shane Lackey of Lima, Ohio, his mother, Sandra J. Lackey of Fairfield, Ohio, his father & step-mother, Dennis & Dorene Lackey of Brookville, Indiana; a sister, Clarissa Marcum of Fairfield, Ohio, a brother, Clinton Aaron Lackey of Brookville; his maternal grandparents, Mary Jane Forch of New Miami, Ohio and Joe Forch of St. Marys, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marvin "Bud" & Inez Lackey.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
