Wanda Lee Waltz, age 84, of Brookville, Indiana passed Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Envive of Brookville, following a lengthy illness.

Born October 5, 1940, in Harrison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Florence (Crocker) Seal. On June 3, 1961, she was united in marriage to Loren M. Waltz, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2015.

Wanda worked as a teacher's aide for the Franklin County Community School System for 41 years. She was a member of Whitcomb United Methodist Church, where she had served as the song leader as well as the financial secretary. Wanda was a volunteer at St. Michael Catholic School and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She loved children and had enjoyed watching over the little ones.

Survivors include two children, Kimberly Chaney and Kevin (Beth) Waltz, both of Brookville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Adam Chaney and Derek (Josie) Waltz, both of Brookville; five great-grandchildren, Audrey Waltz, Ashlyn Waltz, Autumn Waltz, Walker Waltz, Landrey Chaney; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Seal of Brookville, Indiana.

In addition to her parents and husband, Loren, she was preceded in death by her brother, James D. Seal; and brothers & sisters-in-law, Patsy & Quentin Lanning, Robert & Marilyn Frensemier.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Pastor Kevin Waltz will officiate the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 26, 2025, 10:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following at Big Cedar Cemetery in Brookville.
