Violet Moore Miller, age 94, of Metamora, Indiana died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Heritage House of Greensburg, where she had been a resident for several years.

Born December 23, 1922 in Crown Point, Louisiana she was the daughter of the late Morris & Rena (Daigle) Green.  She was united in marriage to Henry Moore on May 2, 1942, and he preceded her in death in 1985.  She married Clarence Miller in 1988, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

She had worked for many years at the former J. Garment Company in Brookville.  She was a member of the Brookville Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son & daughter in law, Daniel B. (Sharon) Moore of Elkhart, Indiana; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, one brother; as well as s tepchildren, Henry Moore Jr. & Clara Jenkins.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Gail Gilbert who died August 7, 2010; three brothers; a sister; step children: Claudia, James & Douglas.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, 1:00 P.M., at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
