Tony Ray Gibbs, age 61, of Metamora, Indiana died late Wednesday night October 27, 2021 at his residence in Metamora, Indiana following a battle with cancer.

Born June 23, 1960 in Connersville, Indiana he was one of nine children born to the late Bob & Bessie Gibbs.  On July 30, 1984 he was united in marriage to the former Donna Hackney, and she survives.

Tony attended the Brookville Church of Christ where he was recently baptized.  In his leisure time he enjoyed playing golf, mowing grass, and visiting with family and friends.

Besides Donna, his loving wife of over 37 years, survivors include three children, Daniel Gibbs of Metamora, Indiana, Sherri Gibbs of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Walter (Mary) Privett of Metamora, Indiana; two grandchildren; eight siblings, Fred (Jane) Gibbs of Killeen, Texas, Robert (Karen) Gibbs of Metamora, Indiana, Lester Gibbs of Greensburg, Indiana, Barbara (Vernon) Metcalf of Brookville, Indiana, Jeanette Werner of Greensburg, Indiana Randy Gibbs of Greensburg, Indiana, Wayne (Leann) Gibbs of Batesville, Indiana and Teresa Gibbs of Osgood, Indiana.

In keeping with Tony's wishes there will be no public services.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
