Dr. Teresa M. Miller DC, age 54, of Brookville, Indiana died peacefully Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her residence in Brookville surrounded by family.

Born March 20, 1964 in Coldwater, Ohio she was one of four children born to Phyllis & Dan Zizelman.  She graduated Salutatorian, class of 1982, from Parkway High School in Rockford, Ohio.  Teresa went on to graduate from National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Illinois and establish her own practice for many years.

In Teresa's leisure time she enjoyed organic gardening, experimenting with new cooking recipes, and a walk or a hike in the outdoors in any weather. Teresa delighted in her children's school activities from elementary school through their college careers. She was an ever present supporter of school bands, cross-country teams, chess clubs and 4-H. She was actively involved in her community and maintained both volunteer and leadership positions in several community agencies including the Franklin County Humane Society where she was most recently serving as President. Teresa will forever be known for her huge heart for helping others.  She never met a stranger, human or animal.

She leaves behind her husband, Ronald Miller of Brookville; her parents, Dan & Phyllis Zizelman of Celina, Ohio; three children, Luke Owens of Brookville, Ellen Owens of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Morgan Miller of Brookville; a sister, Ann (Zizelman) Bowman of Metamora, Indiana; two brothers, Michael (Nancy) Zizelman of Maria Stein, Ohio and Brian Zizelman of Rockford, Ohio; many nieces & a nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lisa Zizelman.

Family & friends may visit from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday March 16, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville .

Rev. Jeffrey Silver, pastor of St Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford, will officiate the Memorial Services on Saturday, March 16, 2019, 10:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville, Indiana.
