Tammy J. Grimes, age 61, of Brookville, Indiana died early Tuesday morning, May 5, 2020 at her residence in Brookville following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born November 14, 1958 in Franklin County, Indiana she was the one of two children born to the late Billy H. Berry & Stella Faith Donovan.  On December 20, 1980 she was united in marriage to Gilbert Grimes Jr., and he survives.

Tammy had worked at the former Elsie Dreyer Nursing Home in Brookville, and also did private duty nursing.  Most recently she had operated her own nail salon out of her home in Brookville.  She had also served on the Franklin County E.M.S..

Besides Junior, her husband of 40 years, survivors include a daughter, Charity Goodin of Sunman, Indiana; a brother, Rodney Berry of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandsons, Brian Goodin of Milan, Indiana and Rodney Goodin of Bright, Indiana; as well as several cousins.

Services will be private with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
