Stephen P. Halpin, age 62, of Connersville, Indiana and a former longtime resident of Laurel, Indiana died Monday, November 9, 2015 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born January 10, 1953 in Fredericktown, Missouri he was the son of Paul E. & Ruby (Wilson) Halpin. He was self employed and had formerly owned & operated the Marathon station in Metamora, as well as his own lawn care and snow removal business. Survivors include a daughter, Bailey Halpin of Laurel, Indiana, a son, Jerame Halpin of Camden, Ohio; his wife Shelia Halpin of Laurel; three brothers, Ray Halpin of Metamora, Indiana Bill Halpin of Connersville, Indiana and Kent Halpin of Laurel, Indiana; his mother Ruby Halpin of Connersville, Indiana; as well as six granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Halpin, and two brothers, Keith Wilson and Roger Halpin. Rev. Wayne Ison will officiate the Memorial Services on Saturday, November 14, 2015, 2:00 P.M., at the Metamora Church of God, 20152 US Highway 52, Laurel, Indiana.
