Shawn E. Perkins, 40, of Brookville, Indiana passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at the home of his brother in Paint Lick, Kentucky. He was born January 19, 1975 in Hamilton, Ohio one of two sons of Glenn and Connie Offill Perkins. He attended Franklin County High School and was employed at Gunther & Son Trucking in Ross, Ohio. His boys, Briar and Brice, were the light of his life and he enjoyed growing up and living in Franklin County and spending time with his family. Everyone will always remember his infectious smile. Survivors include his sons, Briar Perkins and Brice Perkins of Franklin County; his mother, Connie Pierce and step-father, Rick of Lancaster, KY; his brother, Shane Perkins and, Misty of Paint Lick, KY; his grandmother, Irene Offill, of West Harrison, IN.,; a step sister, Chasity Pierce and her husband, Brock; four nephews, three niece ; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Perkins; his maternal grandfather, Calvin R. Offill; paternal grandparents, Paul and Sally Perkins an uncle and best buddy, Calvin C. Offill, and a cousin Troy Offill. Funeral service will be conducted at 3 PM Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home, where friends may call from 1 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Mt.
