Roxie Tinch, age 87, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville, Indiana.

Born July 26, 1929 in Wrigley, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Seldon & Ida B. (Hammock) Lockard.

She was retired, having been employed at Sperry Rubber in Brookville for over 27 years.  Roxie was a member of the Brookville Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Harrison of Connersville, Indiana, a son, Michael Tinch of Brookville, Indiana; two daughters-in-law, Shawna Tinch of Metamora, Indiana and Brenda Tinch of Arcanum, Ohio; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister Orahdell Workman of Brookville; as well as two brothers John M. Lockard of Harrison, Ohio and Garland Lockard of Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Mark Steven Tinch and Timothy C. Tinch; five sisters & three brothers.

Family & Friends may visit from 5 till 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Pastor Perry Booso of the Brookville Church of Christ, will officiate the Funeral Services on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home,  burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
