Roger Jeffrey 'Jeff' Race, age 57, of Brookville, Indiana died  unexpectedly Saturday, October 11, 2025 at his residence.

Born June 24, 1968 in Hamilton, Ohio he was the son of the late Roger L. & Shirley D. (Boggs) Race.  He was a graduate of the former Brookville High School.

He was employed for many years in the automotive industry where he was a glass installer and welder.

In his leisure time Jeff enjoyed frying chicken at the VFW, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1129 of Brookville.  He was very patriotic and held great respect for our Veterans.

Survivors include two daughters, Rachel (Bobby) Wagner of Wasilla, Alaska, April (Nick) Busse of Trotwood, Ohio; two grandchildren, Charlotte Wagner and Graham Wagner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother, Christopher A. Race who died March 2, 2019.

Family & friends may gather from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 22,  2025, Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

The Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.  He will then be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brookville Volunteer Fire Department or the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Brookville.
