Roger E. Pope, age 61, of Harrison, Ohio died Monday morning, June 17, 2019, at his residence following a brief illness.

Born June 27, 1957 in Hamilton County, Ohio he was the youngest child of the late Gordon W. & Mary M. (Ruehl) Pope. Roger worked in the construction industry for much of his life.

In his leisure time he enjoyed riding dirt bikes, the outdoors and camping, and International Harvester tractors.

Survivors include a daughter, Kristina Beyer of Versailles, Indiana, a sister, Rita Bolser of Brookville, Indiana; two brothers, Richard (Irene) Pope of Cedar Grove, Indiana and Raymond Pope of Cincinnati, Ohio; a step-daughter, Julie Beyer; nieces & nephews, Kelly (Trev) Lohrey, Anthony (Traci) Pope, Amy (Josh) Eschenbach, Josh (Kelsey) Pope, Adam Pope; great-nieces & nephews, Dylan (Autumn) Westerfeld, Aiden Pope, Zack Pope, Chase Pope, Bria Pope, A.J. Pope, Katy Pope, Delaina Eschenbach, Jeremy Eschenbach, as well as many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Barbara Pope, a brother-in-law, Ronald Bolser; a niece, Robin Bolser, as well as a great-nephew, Logan Westerfeld.

There will be no public visitation or services.
