Roger D. Miller, age 72, of Brookville, Indiana died Monday, February 12, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio.

Born March 3, 1951 in Connersville, Indiana he was one of three children born to the late Raymond H. & Ruby Marie (Farmer) Miller.  On May 3, 1969 he and the former Marilyn Murrell were united in marriage and she survives.

Roger was retired, having worked for over 21 years at the former D & M in Connersville until its closing.  He then worked as a diesel mechanic until his retirement.

He was a member of the Laurel Masonic Lodge #447, F. & A.M.  In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, guns, gardening and the outdoors.

Besides Marilyn, his loving wife of nearly 55 years, survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Kevin & Stephanie (Grimes) Miller of Brookville, Indiana, Jamie & Dede (McQueen) Miller of Sunman, Indiana; five grandchildren, Justin & Rachel Ratz, Brittnee & Jordan Combs, Tyler Miller, Allyson Miller, Madison (Tommy Winkler) Miller; four great-grandchildren, Reghan, Brooklyn, Braxton & Ava; a sister & brother-in-law, Brenda & Greg Holland of Hamilton, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie W. Miller who died July 8, 1999.

Rev. Rob Edwards will officiate the Funeral Service on Friday, February 16, 2024, 10:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville.
