Roger Dale Grundy, age 60, of Laurel, Indiana died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his residence.

Born July 18, 1955 in Oneida, Tennessee he was the youngest of 12 children born to the late Earl Edward & Golda Mae (Stephens) Grundy.  He worked for most of his life as a mechanic, and tri-axle truck driver.

He was a member of the Scipio United Baptist Church.  In his leisure time he enjoyed restoring cars, history, reading the Bible, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include four children, Roger David Grundy, Erika Danielle Grundy, Kendra Elaine Grundy, and Skyler Louisa-Mae Grundy all of Brookville; the mother of his children, Kimberly (Smith) Grundy; four sisters; and his three grandchildren, Kyle David Grundy, Trevor Lee Grundy, and Kira Dove Kersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and six brothers.

Pastor David Smith Jr. of the Scipio United Baptist Church will officiate the Memorial Services on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at the Scipio United Baptist Church in Scipo.
