Robert Lee York, age 80, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Premier Healthcare of Connersville.

Born October 25, 1936 in Harlan County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Lazarus & Clarkie (Brock) York.  He worked at the former Shillito's Department Stores in Cincinnati, Ohio and was an accomplished artist.

Survivors include several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudine Barnett & Virginia Scalf-Blake; as well as two brothers, Lazarus York Jr. and Virgil York.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Union Cemetery in Symmes Township, Ohio.
