Robert Matthew Newton, age 57, of Brookville, Indiana died unexpectedly Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his residence in Brookville.

Born June 23, 1961 in Hamilton, Ohio he was the son of Robert Granville Newton & Wanda (McFadden) Newton Holbert. He was employed as a Mechanic and Truck Driver for much of his life.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Holbert of Brookville, Indiana; three children, Robert Newton of Rapid City, South Dakota, Justin Newton of Spearfish, South Dakota and Bobbi Newton of Brookville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Nicholas Newton and Jeremiah Newton; a special aunt & uncle, Donna & John Mullins of Brookville, Indiana as well as many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Granville Newton who died July 19, 2007; a brother Randall Clayton Newton who died August 12, 2017; as well as his grandparents.

Rev. Mike Holman, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Brookville, will officiate the Graveside Services on Thursday, October 11, 2018, 11:00 A.M., at Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Ohio.
