Robert Edward Barrett, age 72, of Brookville, Indiana died early Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his residence in Brookville.

Born February 9, 1946 in Manchester, Kentucky he was one of one of ten children born to the late Robert & Doris (Stewart) Barrett. On June 19, 1965 he was united in marriage to the former Louise Sizemore, and she survives.

He was retired from the former Ford/Visteon in Connersville where he had worked for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed buying & selling automobiles.

Besides Louise, his loving wife of 53 years, survivors include three sisters, Patricia Clark of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Karon (Elmer) Hamilton of Brookville, Indiana, Nadya Ann (Nick) Robinette of Ohio; four brothers, Jim (Linda) Barrett of Brookville, Indiana, Jesse (Melody) Barrett of Ohio, Fred (Tracy) Barrett and Johnny (Lisa) Barrett all of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; many nieces & nephews, as well as a host of other family & friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Metsch, and a brother, Ricky Barrett.

Family & friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Pastor Chuck McMahan of Smyrna Baptist Church will officiate the Funeral Services on Monday, June 25, 2018, 1:00 P.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
