Rita Ann Ball, age 65, of Brookville, Indiana died suddenly Friday, June 26, 2015 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, Indiana. Born April 21, 1950 in Connersville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Lonnie & Mary (Payne) Cummins. On November 4, 1967 she was united in marriage to George Ball and he survives. She was a homemaker, and had been a member of the Brookville Garden Club. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds. Besides George, her husband of over 47 years, survivors include four sons, Davit (Amy) Ball of West Chester, Ohio, Danny (Tara) Ball of Batesville, Indiana, Dwight (Jamie) Ball of Brookville, Indiana and Dustin (Amber) Ball of Brookville, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; as well as two brothers, Larry Cummins of Liberty, Indiana and Dennis Cummins of Brookville, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brayden Ball, as well as her sister Clara Jean Monroe.
