Richard M. Oyler, age 64, passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2016 at the Parkview Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Born on August 6, 1951 in Brookville, he was the son of the Late Herman Oyler and Ruth (Bossert) Oyler.

He is survived by his brother, Herman Oyler of Cincinnati, Ohio, and his sister Sandra Seastrom, of Lisle, Illinois.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Melody, and sister, Lee Ann (Oyler) Sappington.

Richard, a Navy Veteran, was a commercial truck driver.

The Very Rev. Sean Danda will officiate the Memorial Services at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
