Ralph Edward 'Joe' Hunter, age 68, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 12, 2025  at his residence in Cedar Grove, Indiana.

Born October 15, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of John Walter & Estoria Magdaline (Smith) Hunter.  On September 17, 1988 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Ann Lay, and she survives.

Joe was retired, having worked as a truck driver for many years.  In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and playing video games.

Besides Mary, his wife of over 37 years, survivors include five children, Jeremy Jackson of Harrison, Ohio, Chad Hunter of Harrison, Ohio, Amanda Bowling of Brookville, Indiana, Heather Ficke of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and Jamie Hunter of Brookville, Indiana; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister Patricia Souders.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Jackie Loos, and a brother John Walter Hunter.
