Ottis Eldridge, age 82, of Laurel, Indiana died Sunday morning November 24, 2019 at his residence in Laurel, Indiana.

Born May 15, 1937 in Letcher County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Leroy & Virgie (Caudill) Eldridge.

He was retired from Roots Blower in Connersville, Indiana where he had worked for many years. He was a member of the Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking, and making furniture, as well as flower gardening.

Survivors include four children, Lori (Wilbur) Marsh of Laurel, Indiana, Donna (Ellis) Cowan of Laurel, Indiana, Jeff Eldridge of Versailles, Indiana and Glenna Griffee of Connersville, Indiana; eight brothers & sisters, Ruth Cornett of Rushville, Indiana, Frank Eldridge of Oldenburg, Indiana, Edna Sturgill of Hazard, Kentucky, Doyle Eldridge of Manchester, Kentucky; Herbert Eldridge, Bobby Eldridge, Larry Eldridge, and Mary Adams all of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy & Virgie Eldridge, his step-mother, Florence Eldridge; his wife Aleen Eldridge; and 10 brothers & sisters.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 25220 Chapel Road, Laurel, Indiana.

Rev. Rob Edwards, Pastor of the Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church will officiate the Funeral Services on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at the Church. Burial will follow in Little Children's Home Cemetery in Blooming Grove, Indiana.
