Opal Marie (Chilton) Shepherd, age 96, of Cincinnati, Ohio died Sunday evening, May 17, 2015 at West Park Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 12, 1918 in Indianapolis, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Arthur & Pearl (Estridge) Chilton. On September 10, 1938 she was united in marriage to Paul L. Shepherd, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2002. She was baptized at the Metamora Church of Christ in 1930. She lived most of her life in Cincinnati, Ohio. Survivors include a Son & Daughter-in-law, Wayne & Emma Shepherd of Brookville, Indiana. Besides her parents, and husband Paul, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Chilton. Friends may visit from 4 till 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Dr. Jack Cottrell will officiate the Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery.
