Ola Mae Padgett, age 71, of Connersville, Indiana died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Heritage House of Connersville.

Born November 14, 1945 in Brookville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Pauline (Baudendistel) Cummins.  She was united in marriage to Donald K. Padgett, and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2003.

Ola Mae was retired from the former Ford/Visteon in Connersville where she had worked for many years.  She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Connersville.  She cherished time spent with her family, and also enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Jeffery B (Cynthia) Padgett of Singapore; Chris T. (Stacy) Padgett of Connersville, Indiana; five grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Smith of Poplarville, Mississippi, Barbara Smith of Brookville, Indiana and Karen Prentice of Milan, Indiana; two brothers, Leo Kolb of Brookville, Indiana and Donald Cummins of Metamora, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, and husband Donald, she was preceded in death by a son Gary Wayne Padgett who died December 12, 1985; two sisters, Betty Johnson & Ervinna "Winnie" Drewes; three brothers, Mike Kolb, Bob Kolb and Harold Cummins.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. John Kamwendo will officiate the Funeral Services on Monday, April 24, 2017, 10:30 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville.  Burial will then follow in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery.
