Nita J. Geis, age 62, of Blooming Grove, Indiana died Friday, March 1, 2019 at Reid Healthcare in Richmond, Indiana.

Born December 13, 1956 in Fayette County, Indiana she is the daughter of Carroll & Mildred (Nolty) Studt.  On April 21, 2001 she was united in marriage to Anthony Geis, and he survives.

Nita had been employed at Sperry Rubber & Plastics in Brookville.  In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting, but most of all she cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

Besides Anthony, her husband of 18 years, survivors include her parents, Carroll & Mildred Studt of Blooming Grove, Indiana; a son, Randall Brewer of Blooming Grove, Indiana; four grandchildren, Harmony Brewer, Brandi Brewer, Addison Brewer and Sylas Brewer; a sister, Pam Miller; two brothers, Mike Studt & Steven Studt; all of Blooming Grove, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Family & friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Reception on Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 1 to 5:00 P.M. at the Metamora Church of God, 20124 U.S. Highway 52, Laurel, Indiana.
