Michael W. Sacksteder, age 76, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at The Waters of Batesville.

Born August 23, 1942 in Cedar Grove, Indiana he was one of five sons born to the late Edwin B. & Alice M. (Meier) Sacksteder. He remained a lifelong resident of Cedar Grove. He was a member of the former Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Cedar Grove, now St. Michael the Archangel.

Survivors include one brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Rena Sacksteder of Brookville, two sisters-in-law, Mary Sacksteder of West Harrison, Indiana and Joyce Sacksteder of Cedar Grove, Indiana, and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Gene, and Don Sacksteder.

Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Holy Guardian Angel Oratory, 405 U.S. Highway 52, Cedar Grove.

Rev. Vincent P. Lampert will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Holy Guardian Angel Oratory in Cedar Grove.
