Michael Lee Hall, 77, passed away on June 9, 2025, in Brookville, Indiana, after a life lived with purpose, passion, and deep faith. Born on February 3, 1948, in Middletown, Ohio, Michael was a proud Navy veteran who served as a Second Class Petty Officer (E5) from 1967 to 1971. He graduated from Monroe High School and earned his degree from Miami University in Oxford.

Much of Michael's professional career was spent in sales with Industrial Equipment, but his greatest calling was sharing the hope he found in Jesus Christ. Known for his unwavering faith, Michael never missed an opportunity to talk about his Savior. He often spoke of "longing for his home in that future city of gold".

Michael loved the outdoors and all things birds. He especially enjoyed camping, canoeing, and bird banding—kestrels held a special place in his heart. He lived life at full speed, both figuratively and literally, frequently seen on his motorcycle. In later years, he divided his time between Indiana and Florida (always chasing the sun) and continued to lead Bible studies and Sunday School classes wherever he found himself.

He was a devoted father who cherished every season of parenthood—cheering at his sons' games, planning outdoor adventures, and discipling them in God's word as they grew. His pride only deepened as they became adults and had children of their own. Michael prayed faithfully for his family and never missed a chance to joyfully brag about his sons and grandchildren to anyone who would listen.

In his later years, Michael never met a stranger—finding new friends, games, and gospel conversations at each RV park he visited.

Michael is survived by his sons, Kevin (Bethany) Hall and Adam (Melanie) Hall, and his grandchildren: Kaden, Makenzie, Hezekiah, Luke, Beau, and Henry. He is also survived by his brother Jim (Denise) Hall and their children, Leslie and Matt.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West 3RD Street, Dayton, Ohio, where full military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Navy Funeral Detail.

In lieu of flowers, Michael would want memorial gifts directed to Ligonier Ministries or the International Mission Board, in support of continuing the Gospel message he held so dear.
