Michael DeFossett, age 32, of Brookville, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at his residence.

Born May 1, 1987, he is the son of Brian DeFossett and Vicki (Caudill) DeFossett both of Brookville, Indiana.

Michael graduated from Franklin County High School with the class of 2005. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Michael lived life to the fullest, enjoying kayaking, canoeing, snowboarding and mudding in his Jeep. He never had any fear to try something new.

He leaves behind sons, Mikey & Rowin both of Brookville, Indiana; his parents; a sister, Michele (Ryan) Moran of Brookville; grandparents, Francis DeFossett, Earsel & Ima Caudill all of Brookville, Indiana; as well as aunts, uncles, a niece & nephew, and many cousins.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. David Chakranarayan will officiate the Funeral Services on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home; where military honors by the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion will follow.
