Maud P. Richmond, age 80, of Laurel, Indiana died Friday, July 28, 2017 at Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Indiana.

Born February 4, 1937 in Ohio she was the daughter of the late John Cecil & Flora Alfred.

Maud worked for many years at the former Ford/Visteon in Connersville.

Survivors include four children, Fred (Lynn) Richmond of Laurel, Indiana, Bonnie (Leroy) Roberts of Laurel, Indiana, Flora (Tommy) Ellis of Connersville, Indiana and Frank Logan (Karen Shepler) of Laurel, Indiana; three sisters, Elzina Strand (Ralph Judd) of Utah, Lou (Jerry) Gray of Connersville, Indiana, Marie Judd of Connersville, Indiana, Charlie (Bonnie) Alfred of Laurel, Indiana; as well as many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Craig Richmond; a sister, Mary Rayburn, two brothers, John Alfred and Paul Alfred, and her longtime friend Frank Logan.

Graveside services will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Laurel North Cemetery, State Road 121, Laurel, Indiana.
