Mary Frances Meier, age 94, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her residence in Cedar Grove. Born August 8, 1920 in Cedar Grove, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ed & Amelia (Hofmeyer) Meier. She was retired and had worked for over 42 years at the former Shillito s Department Store in Cincinnati, and its successor Lazarus. Mary was a Member of Holy Guardian Angels Church in Cedar Grove, Indiana. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially taking care of family. Survivors include two sisters, Edith Meier of Brookville, Indiana and Ethel Rosenberger of Bath, Indiana; one brother, Frank (Alta) Meier of Brookville, Indiana; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, George, Robert and Charles Meier; and a sister, Elizabeth Bachus. The Very Rev. Sean Danda will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 25, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Holy Guardian Angels Chapel, 405 U.S. Highway 52, Cedar Grove, Indiana. Burial will then follow in Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery in Cedar Grove. Family & friends may visit from 9 till 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Holy Guardian Angels Chapel in Cedar Grove.
