Mary Elizabeth Lohrey, age 94, of Brookville, Indiana died Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, Indiana.

Born July 2, 1921 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late William & Mae (Dietz) Seal.  She was united in marriage to Woodrow Lohrey, and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1991.

She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, as well as the Daughters of Isabella St. Catherine Circle of Brookville.

Mrs. Lohrey had worked for many years in the Franklin County Courthouse, serving as Deputy Treasurer and Treasurer of Franklin County.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (Paul) Chaney of Brookville, Indiana and Donna (Alan) Drenchen of Sarasota, Florida; two granddaughters, Kendra (Andrew) Patton and Katelyn (Andrew) Hamm; one grandson, Kris Chaney, and a great-granddaughter due in March 2016.

Besides her parents and husband, Woodrow, she was preceded in death by a sister Helen Noe, and a brother, Paul Seal.

The Very Rev. Sean Danda will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 5, 2015, 10:30 A.M., at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 145 E. St. Michaels Blvd, Brookville.  Burial will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery in Brookville.

Family & friends may visit from 6 till 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M..
