Louverta Lucinda Lainhart, age 85, of Naples, Florida and formerly of Laurel, Indiana died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at her residence in Florida.

Born February 25, 1933 in Berea, Kentucky she was one of seven children born to the late Chris & Sarah Jane (Rector) Peters.  On April 21, 1951 she was united in marriage to Ira Lainhart, and he preceded her in death on January 4, 1996.

Louverta was a member of the Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Laurel, Indiana.  In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing and making crafts, shopping, cooking.  She was a very generous, loving, giving person.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Corbin of Pershing, Indiana, three sons, Tony (Deana) Lainhart of Naples, Florida Perry Lainhart of Naples, Florida and Todd (Lori) Lainhart of Naples, Florida; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elizabeth Hoskins of Laurel, Indiana, Bettie Peters of Greenwood, Indiana, Mina Brock of Franklin, Ohio and Eva Stone of Everton, Indiana.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ira, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Jean Brock, and two brothers, W.C. Peters & Arthur Peters.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Glen Goins, pastor of the Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church, will officiate the Funeral Services on Thursday, January 24, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at the Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 167 Charles Street, Laurel, Indiana.  Burial will then follow in Dale Cemetery in Connersville, Indiana.
