Lena Cox, age 76, of Liberty, Indiana died early Saturday morning, May 17, 2025 at her residence in Liberty, following a lengthy illness.

Born December 12, 1948, in Hazard, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Corbett & Dessie (Feltner) Napier.  She was united in marriage to Charles Ray Cox on December 21, 1968, and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2020.

A homemaker, she cherished time spent with her family.  She also enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include three children; Curt (Sandy) Cox of Brookville, Indiana, Julie (James) Pierce of Dayton, Ohio and Mark (Kelly) Cox of Liberty, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Matthew Cox, Katie Cox, Leslie Cox, Maria Cox, Natalie Cox, Levi Cox, Audrey Cox; one brother and several sisters.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, and four brothers.

Jason Bantz will officiate the Graveside service at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Sims Cemetery in New Fairfield.
