Lawanda Gail Spurlock, age 55, of Laurel, Indiana died suddenly Thursday, February 15, 2018 at her residence in Laurel, Indiana.

Born July 23, 1962 in Rush County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Carl Willis & Henrietta (Saylor) Spurlock.  She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County; and had worked at Sperry Rubber & Plastics in Brookville for several years.

Survivors include three children, Raymond Proffitt of Indianapolis, Indiana, Daniel Spurlock of Shelbyville, Indiana and Amanda Spurlock of Laurel, Indiana; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, J.D. Saylor of Houston, Texas and Carl Spurlock of Pleasant View, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carlene Rayburn and Melinda Ault; as well as a brother, Gary Calihan.

Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 167 Charles Street, Laurel, Indiana.

Rev. Glen Goins will officiate the Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Laurel Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Interment will be in Laurel North Cemetery.
