Kathryn Allen, age 63, of Brookville, Indiana died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at her residence in Brookville.

Born February 19, 1956 in Kermit, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Miles & Virginia (Copley) Sturgell.

She had been employed at Whitewater Processing in Harrison, Ohio for many years.

She was a member of First Apostolic Bible Church in Lawrenceburg, and had attended Greater Vision Ministries in Metamora. In her leisure time she enjoyed painting, shopping, trips home to West Virginia, and being with her family.

Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Brandon Blevins of Metamora, Indiana; three granddaughters, Savanna Riedeman, Felicity Smith, and Cierra Conaway; two great-grandchildren; a sister Christine (Rick) Callahan of Brookville, Indiana, two brothers, Olus (Sharon) Sturgell of Laurel, Indiana and Tony (Sheila) Sturgell of Metamora, Indiana; as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenna Wright; as well as two brothers, Claude Sturgell and Frank Sturgell.

Family & friends may visit from 9 until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Her daughter, Susan Blevins will officiate the Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 8, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in St. Peters United Church of Christ Cemetery in Klemmes Corner.
