Juanita R. Hensley, age 83, of Brookville, Indiana died Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.

Born December 16, 1934 in Estill County, Kentucky she was one of five children born to the late Roosevelt & Farzina Susan (Winkle) Rice.  On June 2, 1951 she was united in marriage to Gilbert Hensley, and he survives.

Juanita was a member of the Brookville Church of Christ.  In her leisure time she enjoyed oil & acrylic painting and was an accomplished artist.

Besides Gilbert, her loving husband of 67 years, survivors include a daughter, Regina Hensley of Highland Heights, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Jacob and Andrew Hensley; as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Hensley who died November 6, 2008; three sisters, Jeanette Powell, Cleona Sparks, Florence Dile; and one brother, Earl Rice.

Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Pastor Perry Booso of the Brookville Church of Christ will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, August 25, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
