Jeannine M. (Wise) Surguy, age 55, of Brookville, Indiana, died suddenly Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her residence in Brookville.

Born December 6, 1962 in Connersville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Herman L. & Claire L. (Boyle) Wise.  On January 2, 1982 she was united in marriage to Michael James Surguy, and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2008.

Jeannine worked as a field manager for Realty Exchange for several years.  She treasured family, enjoyed the rich natural world around her hometown, was an avid reader with a special appreciation for fantasy, and had a deep love for music.  A love learned from her mother, who was a professional pianist at the family's Midtown bar.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Lea Wise-Surguy & Patrick DeSimio of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her siblings, Mary Ann C. Wise-Castner of Versailles, Indiana, Karl L. Wise of Brookville, Indiana, Caroline L. Wise of Dayton, Ohio and Nancy J. Wise of Kettering, Ohio; as well as several nieces & nephews.

Family & friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home with her sister, Mary Ann Wise-Castner, as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
