Jean Frances (McKenna) Carrow, age 81, of Laurel, Indiana died Thursday June 15, 2017 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, Indiana.

Born July 5, 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Frances (Phillips) McKenna.  On October 31, 1955 she was united in marriage to Arthur Forest Carrow, and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2003.

Jean was a homemaker and a mother of 10 children, in her leisure time she was a voracious reader and had quite an extensive library of her own.

Survivors include nine children, Stephen Carrow of Viola, Wisconsin Gregory Carrow of Greenfield, Indiana, Marjorie Kashner of Cumberland, Indiana, Christina Carrow of Greenfield, Indiana, Casey Carrow of Columbus, Indiana, Marian Helms of Spiceland, Indiana, Thomas Carrow of Metamora, Indiana, Roberta Carrow-Jackson of Covington, Louisiana and Phil Carrow of  Laurel, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as three brothers, Robert McKenna of Minnesota, Thomas McKenna of New Mexico and Daniel McKenna of Arizona.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Manning and a son Andrew Carrow who died May 16, 2017.

Family & friends may visit from 1 until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Pastor Jim Webster of the Oak Forest Church of Christ will officiate the Memorial Services at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
