Glenn Harlan Williams, age 74, of West Harrison, Indiana died Friday, July 10, 2015 at his residence. Born October 20, 1940 in West Harrison, Indiana he was the son of the late Harlan L. & E. Hazel (Hutchinson) Williams. On April 10, 1965 he was united in marriage to the former Brenda Merrell, and she survives. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Glenn was a farmer and had farmed in Franklin County all of his life. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church; a founding member of the Drewersburg Volunteer Fire Department, where he had served as Chief; Franklin County Farm Bureau; the Franklin County Chief s Association; and was an active supporter of the 4-H Program. Besides Brenda, his loving wife of over 50 years, survivors include two daughters & sons-in-law, Leah (Travis) Sills of Poneto, Indiana and Leslie (Doug) Ludwig of West Harrison, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, Jayde Sills, Jordyn Sills, Jackson Sills, Tim Ludwig, Sam Ludwig, Josh Ludwig, and Emma Ludwig; two sisters, Mary Evelyn Taylor and Joyce Frondorf both of West Harrison, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, 4011 State Road 252, Brookville. Pastor Andy Zinsmeister will officiate the Funeral Services at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church. Burial with Full Military Graveside Honors by the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville. Carmel Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund, Franklin County 4-H Association or the Will Frondorf Memorial Scholarship Fund.
