Gilbert H. Bollinger Jr., age 76, of Metamora, Indiana died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his residence in Metamora.

Born July 16, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late Gilbert H. & Louise K. (Frass) Bollinger Sr. On March 12, 1976 he and the former Donna R. Loos were united in marriage and she survives.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company were he had worked for many years as a Tool & Die maker. He was a member of the Harrison Avenue Baptist Church. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing billiards.

Besides Donna, his loving wife of over 42 years, survivors include eight children, Sheri Allen of New Baltimore, Ohio, Pam Ivey of Brookville, Indiana, Lynn Braun of Centerville, Ohio, Lisa Henger of Dayton, Ohio, Joey Roessler of Harrison, Ohio, Michael Bollinger of West Chester, Ohio, Lisa Zeiser of West Harrison, Indiana, and Gilbert H. Bollinger III of Raleigh, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Vickie Purnell of Homosassa, Florida.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Bollinger.
