Geneva R. Seegmueller Cecil, age 90, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died Saturday evening January 26, 2019 at Ft. Hamilton Hughes Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.

Born October 10, 1928 in Big Leatherwood, Perry County Kentucky she was the daughter of the late William & Susan (Melton) Ratliff. She was married to Fred Seegmueller, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1978; she later married Evans C. "Dusty" Cecil in 1985, and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2012.

A homemaker, Geneva had also worked for several years at Sperry Rubber & Plastic in Brookville. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, and the Presbyterian Women; in her leisure time she enjoyed flowers and flower gardening.

Survivors include three children, Helen (Don) Anderson of Seattle, Washington, Don (Donna) Seegmueller of Greensburg, Indiana and Robert (Bonny) Seegmueller of Cedar Grove, Indiana; six grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, Isabella Monroe; two sisters, Hattie Sanders of Brookville, Indiana and Nancy Kunkel of Connersville, Indiana.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Blain, Saul, Homer, Charlie & Nando Ratliff.

Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Andy Zinsmeister, pastor of the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church will officiate the Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
