Elsie Mae Davis, age 91, of Connersville, Indiana and formerly of Brookville, died Friday, April 4, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born August 10, 1933 in Palestine, Franklin County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late William & Bertha O. (Stenger) Meyer.  On August 11, 1951 she became the wife of Clifford Davis, and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2017.

She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Connersville, and had formerly been a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Brookville.

A homemaker, in her leisure time she enjoyed flowers and gardening, taking care of her home, going out to eat with her friends and family, and puzzles.

Survivors include four children, Bill Davis of Indianapolis, Indiana, Randy Davis of Connersville, Indiana, Debra Wilkerson of Liberty, Indiana, and Mike (Brenda) Davis of Connersville, Indiana; grandchildren, Cassandra, Heather, BJ, Brandy, Andrea, Christopher, Craig, Chandra, Kevin, Tina; many great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Cliff, she was preceded in death by two daughters-in-law, Tina Davis and Joyce Davis, a son-in-law, Jack Wilkerson, two sisters, Mary Ellen Meyer and Kathryn Ann Meyer Corbin, two brothers, Harry Meyer and Robert V. Meyer.

Friends & family may visit from 10 to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Vincent Lampert will officiate the Catholic Funeral Rite at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
