Edith Louise Meier, age 88, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, Indiana.

Born August 2, 1927 in Cedar Grove, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ed & Amelia (Hofmeyer) Meier.

Survivors include a brother & sister-in-law, Frank & Alta Meier of Brookville, Indiana as well as 14 nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, George, Robert and Charles Meier; and three sisters, Elizabeth Bachus, Mary Frances Meier, and Ethel Rosenberger.

Family & friends may visit from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Holy Guardian Angels Chapel, 405 US Highway 52, Cedar Grove, Indiana.

Rev. Shaun Whittington will officiate the Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Holy Guardian Angels Chapel in Cedar Grove.  Burial will follow in Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery in Cedar Grove.
