Dorothy Mae Gross, age 65, of Brookville, Indiana died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Fort Hamilton Hughes Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. Born January 28, 1950 in Connersville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late C. Ray & Mae (John) Thackrey. Survivors include two brothers, Charles Eddie (wife, Ginny) Thackrey of Camden, Ohio; Larry Michael Ray of Greensburg, Indiana; special cousin Sis Janey (Bill) Martin; as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother & sister-in-law, John Ray & Marjorie Thackrey; and a niece, Karen Thackrey. Family & friends may visit from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brokville. Rev. Malcolm B. Greene will officiate the Funeral Services on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Old Franklin Cemetery.
