Donald K. Stirn, age 79, of Brookville, Indiana died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his residence. Born October 9, 1935 in Franklin County, Indiana he was the son of the late Roy & Hazel Irene (Gold) Stirn. Don was retired, and had worked as a Union Truck Driver, and also farmed in Franklin County for several years. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include his long time companion, Martha Tootie Walters; one daughter & son-in-law, Deanna & Phillip Taylor of Gosport, Indiana; two sons & daughters-in-law, Scott & Tammy Stirn of Brookville, Indiana and Andy & Connie Stirn of West Harrison, Indiana; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. No public services or visitation will be held and burial will take place in Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery in Cedar Grove, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriners Children s Hospital or the Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
