Darrell D Canada's Obituary
Darrell D. Canada, age 76, of Brookville, Indiana died Friday, August 7, 2020 at Columbus Regional Health System in Columbus, Indiana.
Born September 8, 1943 in Parkers Lake, Kentucky he was the son of the late George & Rachel (Rose) Canada. On March 9, 1968 he was united in marriage to the former Linda Kuehn, and she survives.
Darrell was retired, having worked for many years at Campbell Hausfeld in Harrison, Ohio. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Brookville. In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and running his beagles, as well as time spent with his grandchildren.
Besides Linda, his loving wife of over 52 years, survivors include two sons, Tim (Kim) Canada of Jackson, South Carolina, Rob Canada & companion Jennifer of Brookville, Indiana; six grandchildren 3 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild; three sisters, Naomi Keith of Whitley City, Kentucky, Arlene (Dan) Dorrel of Brookville, Indiana and Mabel (Ray) Spradlin of Brookville, Indiana; a brother, Harold Canada of Harrison, Ohio.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Devon Robert Canada, a sister, Nadine Cochran; two brothers, Wilburn Canada and Ronald E. Canada.
Pastor Kevin Waltz of Emmanuel Baptist Church will officiate the Funeral Services on Monday, August 10, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville.
