Clara B. Emmons, age 85, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Brooville Healthcare Center in Brookville.

Born May 23, 1934 in Mt. Carmel, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Guy & Gladys (Patterson) Nesbitt. She was united in marriage to Robert Emmons, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2013.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Hermon of Hamilton Ohio, Patricia Susan of Belefontaine, Ohio, and Dora Branham of Georgetown, Kentucky; three sons, Daniel Erion of Illinois, Dale Erion of Michigan, and David Erion of Bellefontaine, Ohio; four sisters, Joann Henry of Cedar Grove, Indiana, Margaret Yance of Hamilton, Ohio Dorothy Mays of Arizona and Harriett Darnell of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Donnie Nesbitt of Cincinnati, Ohio, Harry Nesbitt of Ross, Ohio and Clyde Nesbitt of Sunman, Indiana; 15 grandchildren as well as several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Robert, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Eleanor and Esther Mannie, and four brothers, David, Clarence, Tom, and Lowell Nesbitt.

Rev. Mike Holman will officiate the Funeral Services on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, 1:00 P.M; at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Burial will then follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Family & friends may visit from 12:00 Noon until the time of the services at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
