Celeste Fern Roark, age 80, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her residence in Brookville.

Born January 17, 1936 in Franklin County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Sallie (Hibbard) Roark.  She remained a lifelong resident of Franklin County, and was retired from the former Visteon in Connersville, Indiana where she had worked for over 32 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Esther Steiner of Brookville, Indiana; a grandson, Gary (Tammy) Shepard of Brookville, Indiana; a granddaughter, Sherry Beal of Cedar Grove, Indiana; four great-grandsons, Michael Shepard, Garett Shepard, Braydon Beal and Brock Beal; and many beloved nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Hanna, Zella Cooley, Esther Gulley, Lucy Mae Quigley and Lula Lackey; two brothers Thomas Roark and Cecil Roark.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Wayne Ison will officiate the Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
