Audrey Louise (Leadbetter) Ferguson, 83, of Metamora, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. She was born March 9, 1936, in Peppertown, Indiana, the daughter of the late Fred and Lucille (Peters) Leadbetter.

Audrey was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, feeding birds, and spending time with family with her chihuahua, Killer, laying in her lap. She was a quiet person, but enjoyed all the activities going on around her.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George "Bill" Ferguson of Metamora, two daughters, Sherrie (Ray) Halpin of Metamora, and Sandy (Dennis) Dietz of Batesville. She is also survived by one sister, Vilma Slagle of Connersville, IN, and two brothers, Donald Leadbetter of Boise, ID, and Richard Leadbetter of Connersville, IN. Also surviving to cherish Audrey's memory are three grandchildren, Misty (Jeff) Richardson, Joe Halpin and special friend Paul Robertson, and Beth (Brett) Lowrie, four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Christian, Paige; and one great-great grandchild, Justin Carter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucille Leadbetter, and her brother Duane Leadbetter.

Visitation will be at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville, IN from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, 218 West Main Street, Laurel, IN at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2019 with Pastor John Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Metamora Cemetery.
